Restful , large comfortable room & helpful staff

Comfortable room, friendly staff, uncomplicated check in and out, great if pushed for time, would stay here again if need to be in the area

Staff were very good and Hotel was clean.

The room was very very shoddy, the panel on the bath was badly cracked and the wall paper was peeling off the wall behind the bed. We both felt we had to sleep fully clothed as the room was so grubby.

Very friendly staff, warm welcome. Restaurant on-site, with a good variety of meals to choose without being too extensive.

Wi-Fi only available in and near to the reception area. No Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. Bedroom decor, a little tired.

stayed A couple of times at this hotel first time wth my little girl 2 yrs stay was great travelcot in the room must say I was impressed with the cot bedding very nice I think the ladies name is debbie well thanks very much we enjoyed our night wiil see you soon lisa campbell

I stayed at The Mill for the night when taking my son to uclan (Preston) and as we were coming from Bournemouth wanted a night somewhere off the motoways and close to Preston. Having made my choice via a web search I left Bournemouth not really knowing what The Mill was going to be like and all I can say it that it was brilliant and far exceeded my expectations. The room (a twin) was lovely and had all you wish for in a hotel. The en-suite was spotlessly clean and the linens were lovely and crisp. We decided to have a snack in the evening and yet again it was superb - I ordered a Beef and Cucumber sandwich and it was made with proper beef (not that packet stuff!) and my son had a Teriaki Wrap (which a tasted and was wonderful). I cannot recomment The Mill enough - it is in a wonderful setting and would I ever stay there again the answer would be a resounding yes!!!

Location, room size.

Unfortunatley picked a night when a wedding reception was being held. No sleep at all during the night, due to paper thin walls music and people returning to rooms. Ask if one is being held before booking, particularly if you want to sleep. This was a one night stop over for us before travelling to Scotland, some sleep would have been nice!

on arrival we were greeted by a very warm welcome and got a upgrade right away without asking. We both agree that the staff were the most friendly that we have ever had the occasion to meet throughout our stay (and would go so far as to say they are the very best staff that we have ever met on any weekend breaks and holidays in the UK and the continent and we have had a lot of holidays). The meals were great and the breakfast was out of this world which was made better still, by the most friendly of staff. Good Luck to a fantastic hotel and staff. Myself & Partner. Regards J. The location was convenient for visiting regional attractions. large car park. quiet location. Breakfast good. Room comfortable.

Only one hand towel provided for 2 people No shower mat provided for bath or for ceramic bathroom floor Single ply toilet tissue supplied - poor quality. No door handle on outside of room door - dificult to close up when leaving room. no seating in room Some redecoration required to room.

Very quiet. Not many guests staying probably due to previous bad reviews. But I found nothing to complain about.
